Scope of Work: First Floor Ceiling Repair and Shower Remodel

1. First Floor Ceiling Repair

• Prepare and secure the ceiling area for drywall installation.
• Patch and repair all affected sections to ensure a smooth, level surface.
• Prime  and apply two coats of paint (paint color and brand to be selected by the customer; cost of paint included in the quote).
• Extend patch and paint to blend seamlessly with the existing ceiling finish throughout the first-floor area.

2. Bathroom Preparation and Demolition

• Demolition: Remove all remaining shower components including wall tile, shower floor, and existing fixtures.
• Plumbing Rough-In: Adjust plumbing as needed for the shower system, including showerhead, valve, and controls.
• Insulation & Backer Board Installation: Install new insulation (as required) and cement/backer board on shower walls in preparation for waterproofing and tiling.

3. Waterproofing and Tiling

• Waterproofing: Apply waterproof membrane to all shower walls and floor areas in accordance with industry standards.
• Shower Pan: Install and level new shower pan; waterproof all pan and curb connections.
• Plumbing Fixtures: Install new showerhead, valve, and handle per customer’s selected fixture package or install the old (customer choice)
• Tile Installation:
• Shower Walls: Tile walls using customer-selected tile (recommended 24"x24" porcelain or ceramic).
• Shower Floor: Install customer-selected tile (mosaic tile recommended for proper slope and drainage).
• Bathroom Flooring: Remove existing laminate flooring from shower door to the wall around the toilet. Replace with new waterproof laminate flooring. (Add $400 to the quote  if customer chooses to tile this area instead.)

Tile Material Handling:
Customer will select all tile and Laminate materials. AD Master Construction will be responsible for pickup, transportation, and delivery of all tile materials to the job site. The customer will make the design and material selections, and our team will manage all logistics and handling due to material weight and scheduling requirements.

5. Fixtures, Painting, and Finishing Touches

• Glass Installation: Install new shower door  (or re-install old ) per approved design and specifications.
• Plumbing Finalization: Install all shower fixtures and fittings; reinstall existing toilet or install new one (customer’s choice).
• Painting: Prime and apply two coats of paint on bathroom walls and ceiling (paint selected by customer; cost of paint is included).
• Baseboards & Accessories: Install new baseboards and customer-selected bathroom accessories (e.g., towel bars, hooks, mirror, etc.).
• Final Cleanup: Perform a full cleanup of the work area, remove debris and materials, and complete a final walkthrough with the customer to confirm satisfaction and completion.
